Week 1 Sports
In the news this week, Major League Baseball Ken Griffey Jr. gets elected to the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Along With Griffey, Mike Piazza will also be going to Cooperstown to join a very renowned list of men to play the game of Baseball. In other news, Week 17 in the NFL has concluded so now its on to the playoffs. Several head coaches of the teams that fell short this season have either been fired or stepped down from the position. Long time New York Giants Head-coach Tom Coughlin was the first coach to step down but came as surprise to some people considering he led the team to two Super Bowl victories(and didn't cheat doing it.) "Warriors! Warriors!" or something along those lines, is what you would see headlining any article about the NBA, considering they not only have the best start in franchise history, but the best start in NBA history. They have been led by the most proficient back-court tandem in the league in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, who can shoot the 3-ball like no other and play good team basketball. Stay tuned next week for more exciting information surrounding the sports world.
